For all the talk that the Steelers would need to addess a future NT to groom behind Casey Hampton, that the Steelers have brought in the sum total of 1 possible NT prospect so far?

Is there a surprise NT option that the Steelers are trying to keep under wraps?

I think if Cody somehow falls to round two...the Steelers won't pass. That's alot of mass and power to pass on in the second.

I just don't think that there's gonna be a guy where we pick that we like.

I would love to see Terrell Troup in the 3rd Round to the Steelers!!! Even with drafting Ziggy last year the team still needs to add more youth to the front of the 3-4. With a pick of Troup the Steelers would have three promising young guys to compete in training camp and I actually like what I saw of McClendon last year as well!!! We could have the three graybeards starting and Troup, Hood and Eason/Harris/McClendon as the backups!!! That would be a good start at rebuilding the DL for the future!

Not sure if NG is a high priority at this point. Casey signed a 3 year contract? I think. May just wait until next year or the year after that to address. Hoke is still on the team too, don;t forget. DE is a priority, however.

They will draft a NT if they have the opportunity. The bigger question is will there be a quality 3-4 NT worth drafting?

True- probably will in the later rounds or FA- need bodies for camp.

Maybe they're hiding their interest. Maybe they're happy with Hampton/Hoke for now and have different priorities this year.

Steve McLendon was an UDFA out of Troy (6'4" 280 lbs.). He finished last season on our practice squad.
