If there was no background to this story, then sure- it's embarassing.
But to Chadman, this move does the Rooney's credit. They value the organisation they own. Some of their employees do not. This is the warning to the other malcontenants that are still employed.
Say what you like- but this is a gutsy move.
The people that are trying to make the world worse never take a day off, why should I?
It looks like the F.O. has put all their eggs in the basket labelled - "Stonio won't be able to stay on the field much this season - better get rid of him while we can get ANYTHING for him, before our WHOLE investment goes 'up in smoke' ".
It'll have been the right move if he doesn't see much/any playing time for the Jets, the wrong one if he cleans up his act and becomes a hero again.
It was bad enough with all the other self-destructive nonsense, but when he stated twittering about his toking routine he basically cooked, or “baked” his own goose. Thanks for the good memories, now go kick Faneca in the shin!
