Is camp a little lighter than last year, I read all the posts from everyone there, and all we get from everywhere else, and it seems to me did Tomlin buy into he worked them too hard last year? When I see posts where he gave 86 "the day down" I think is this a coach who listens to his players? Or someone who realizes his vets make him a better coach, and he gives the vets free reign to teach the next class. It's what I got from the 86 interview.

Stan Savran said last night Tomlin is running a "tougher" camp to get the team more prepared physically and mentally. There are about 7-8 less players at camp this yr because of the NFLEuropa folding. If you think about it, that's like one guy per position so that is why he's giving guys random days off IMO.

Been listening to Stan since he wore curly perms in the 80's, I still dont think he knows the difference between tough and tight. I like the fact the vets go and encourage our rooks.
