PITTSBURGH (93-7 The Fan) – Recently retired Steeler Chris Hoke joined Seibel, Starkey and Miller on Sportsradio 93.7 The FAN after announcing his retirement.
Hoke talked about the past 11 years with the Steelers, and when he started out if he ever would have been able to dream of things working out this way.
Always a team first guy throughout his career, Hoke told us what it meant to have some of his teammates at his announcement today, and what a brotherhood he has formed with those guys.
Hoke was always one of the smaller nose tackles in the league, and said the reason he was able to stick around is because he always made sure nobody outworked him and he always took one more rep than everyone else. We also got Hoke to give us the one moment in his career that will always stick out to him.
We wrapped things up with Hoke by getting his thoughts on the guys that are going to replace him and how prepared they are to step up.
