    Kenny Montana

Well, I hope that first game was not indicative of the second year growth we were supposed to see. Lets just hope that was a first game against a tough D.

10 rushing attempts vs 46 passing attempts is hardly the recipe for success that Kenny needs.
Obviously the standard is the standard.

What are you basing that confidence on?

That’s correct. The Steelers can not win on Kenny’s arm. They will need balance and a lack of running game will expose KP early and often.

I'll say this, if the organization think that Kenny's ceiling is game manager and that -- along with drafting a power running back -- was the way to compete in this AFC in this modern era of football, it's time to raze it all to the ground.

                Including Rooney.

Exactly. Strong defense, ground and pound keep away offense can win games even in the modern NFL.

I expected the Bengals to start slow, that game was in sloppy conditions, and Watson is more than a game manager. He's been spectacular before.

Also, if this is your plan, why do you come out throwing and keep the road-grading LT and TE you drafted on the bench?

What this team says and what they do are different. They look like they have no identity on offense. Commit to something.

The formula has been set for the league - stop the run and see if KP8 can beat them with his arm.

                          Oh, and then Canada.

Pretty much. Even down 20 pts late he was tossing 10 yd sideline throws instead of throwing down field (but yea, the OL wasn't exactly a brick wall for him either).

Bad game for KP no doubt. And i mean bad. But it was against the best D in the NFL and its just one game.

Hopefully he regroups fast because they don't give QBs much time to develop these days.
