Seems like a good guy, but we clearly can not go into next season with him as our #2. Ben is getting older and the hits keep on coming. Is Gradkowski still on the team. I'm sure Hoyer ( ug ) will be available. At least he has experience!

Landry is an okay #2. Gradkowski has an expiring contract...
Actually, my post was NOT about you...but, if the shoe fits, feel free to lace that &!+€# up and wear it.

Jones will be fine as a #2. Going in cold last night isn't a condemnation of his ability.

Haley needs to design a gameplan for Jones. He can't play Roethlisberger's game but he is good enough to win a football game on any given Sunday.

Landry Jones is an absolute liability on offense. The worst QB I ever recall playing in the NFL. He needs to be gone as soon as possible.

It was difficult for Jones to come in and play under those circumstances. Probably didn't receive many reps in practice, bad weather, playoff game, ect. Jones should know better than to turn the ball over though.

Jones is not even a 3 QB. He cannot do anything, except hand the ball off. Heath Miller would be better. Jones is a negative on offense. Opposing teams want him to have the ball in his hands, and not because it means Roethlisberger is out. It means opportunity for the opposing team. I cannot believe we have kept this negative impact player around as long as this.

Landry Jones has come a long way. However until the next Kirk Cousins is available in the 4th I don't think he will have much competition except from a veteran (which the Steelers always carry one).

I like the concept of there being a Landry package in case of emergencies. This I'm sure would never happen but, give Landry more reps in practice for the more serious games. By now Ben probably can do his job, stay crisp despite sharing practice time with Landry. Backups coming off the bench and expecting your team to not struggle is a stretch for most teams. We were blessed with Batch all those years.
