    Two different backs; same risks and production. Who fits best with Canada's vision? I think the answer is obvious;

    I am starting to think DB (safety or slot CB) is creeping to top of draft needs. higher than C, at least there we know and we have some faith in Finney.
    Who knows...

    I bet Art II and co. remember the "does he play center days" and know that there is no running game if your C gets continually caved in.

    But CB is a real need. Probably need 2 over the next two drafts. And one of those needs to be a starter on the outside (unless we bring in another UFA I guess).

    I think it's a tough call.

    In a normal timeline, the Steelers value Harris way more than Etienne I think. We like big, strong, powerful guys and he sounds like a complete RB. But like Bell, it sounds like he's going to offer consistency with less potential for explosive plays.

    Etienne sounds kind of like the opposite. Probably less consistent, but more explosive.

    With an iffy run blocking OL, is it better to have a guy that has a better chance to eek out a consistent gain? Or is it better to have a guy that's more likely to break one in the few plays that the OL get's it's **** together?

    I think there's an argument for both.

    But if we want to run a fair amount so Ben can be a game manager, I think Harris is the better pick. But I could probably be convinced otherwise.

    The people that are trying to make the world worse never take a day off, why should I?

    We've seen crazy drafts before; I wouldn’t be shocked. Williams looks like a stud from all the clips I've seen of him. If he pans out, who cares when we took him? But I've got an even bigger eye on Jenkins. I want that tackle position really fixed.

    From the 2010-2020 season, (A 10 year period that the majority of Cowher's players & coaches had left) Mike Tomlin has only won 3 playoff games. And two of those wins were against back up Quarterbacks.

    Dolphin fans in the 90ís who wanted to hold on to Don Shula for what he did in the playoffs in the 70ís...
    Are the same as Steeler fans (of 2020 ) holding on to Tomlin for what he did in 2008, with Cowher's players & coaches

    if we don't go RB in Round 1, I wouldn't be opposed to a trade up in Round 2 to pick Javonte Williams.

    but I think we would be more apt to wait for Trey Sermon later, the Steelers reportedly told him "they liked his game."

    Were absolutely correct. Miami hasn't won squat ever since Shula left.

    ESPN has the Steelers selecting Shaun Wade in the third. He was a great slot DB in 2019 but struggled when OSU moved him to the outside last season.

    all 3 of these players the Steelers like have a common thread. the Steelers want to get tougher.

    you gotta love this Teven Jenkins tweet:

    Alex Kozora
    @Alex_Kozora

    Oklahoma State OT Teven Jenkins on what teams are getting if they draft him.

    "Tough, physical, nasty mother****er. A dude who does not shy away from hits. A dude's who is going to bust his ass."

    No one could be upset at us for taking Jenkins. Isn’t that the type of toughness Mr. Rooney said we needed in our new and improved run game? I’m on board with Jenkins.

    why are you quoting Mr. Rooney?

    you have already said he doesn't care about winning, so why would you care about his opinion on anything?
