The defense in 2024 has a chance to be very good. Queen is a very good LB and we are not giving enough praise to his acquisition. If we have a CB to match JPJ, our defensive backfield will be good. Barring injury we have SB defense.

If Wilson is serviceable at QB, I believe we will pound the ball. We have a chance to be a very good team in 24. The question is can time control beat the Cheifs and Bills. We will practice at that against the Bengals. I do not have confidence in Fields yet.

Agree! Without a top notch QB and this brutal schedule I don't see it. The good news is that it could set us up for a killer draft in 2025. Here's hoping Khan can fill the holes!

How in the Hell are you projecting negativity two years down the road? This is a very talented roster right now and if the QB situation works out, who knows how far this team can go. I'm of the opinion they have a great shot at winning the division, if they can stay healthy and we get good play under center.

To say they have no legitimate shot at winning the Super Bowl this year might have a dash of reality but is simply being negative. To say they have no shot over the next two years is absurd. Why don't you wait for this year to play out before you go making predictions like this.

The problem is, almost every question asked on this site to debate, Tomlins abilities as a head coach, directly effects an answer more than almost anything else. The question was Agree or disagree:
The Steelers window for a superbowl is not open in the next two years? Well seeing that in our last 12 playoff games Alex Smith is the only opposing starting Qb we've beaten i'd say yeah our chances of winning a Superbowl is close to 0%. Not mainly based on talent as the 2000 Ravens won with a great D and little offense. But based on the Steelers performance with Tomlin the last 13 years is a track record of not being able to win playoffs yet alone a Superbowl.
Kinda hard to answer that question without discussing Tomlin immensely.

It would be like if there was a board discussing a restaraunt with a good menu, good servers, nice atmosphere but the cook sucked. And people ask do you think we will be the best restaraunt in town in 2024 or 20025. And someone says not with that bad cook. And you say, can't we discuss this restaraunt moving forward without you guys always reminding us the cook sucks!! Sorry the cook is an integral part of the restaraunts success or failure.

Cracked open if Russ regains his 2012-14 form and the OL gels quickly. Not much more, though, Cam is about done and the DL is thin as the other thread indicates. I think we hit DL in FA and the draft next year.

Not many teams in the AFC have a Super Bowl window with Mahomes, sadly.

+1 On the restaurants Pittburgh does rank with New York or Chicago, but it has it places that are good.
