He is clearly a backup caliber slug back who is expendable to us. Clearly there are teams willing to give up a 3rd for ONE SEASON of his ineptness.

In view of the fact that Mike Tomlin has matched Cowhers record I give him the designation:

Reading that Warren had a fumble in yesterday's practice.

                Uh oh.....

Harris isn?t likely to get a new contract from the Steelers. Khan should sell if he can.
Tomlin hasn't won a playoff game in seven years and counting. The earliest will be eight years. I guess that in Art Rooney's II, opinion is worth a 3 year extension.

Our 2024 draft looks to be grade A. Our 2023 draft is an A. The roster is talented, but Mike Tomlin is still the head coach.

*** Mike Tomlin is the best coach since the AFL- NFL merger that has not won a playoff game in 8 seasons or more. It's either him or Lewis. ***

Dude...please give it up. You have made it clear, in a dozen other threads, you don't like Harris and think Warren is a star. The organization doesn't and aren't trading him. He will be a star this year and I wouldn't be surprised if we extend him for a few years

Ima predicting right now that if Smith uses 21 personnel a significant amount of snaps then Harris will have one of, if not the, best season of his career. Harris knows how to follow a FB to the hole. Finding the hole has been his problem in the past. And Colletto is showing he is for real so far in camp.

Why not get another year out of him. Then if he leaves in free agency we still likely get a comp pick.

Harris doesn't really have the vision or the speed to be an effective back for the zone blocking scheme of the Smith offense. Warren will do far better I feel.

Najee is a powerful back but Warren has the case of the fumbles far too often. What to do?

Perhaps it would be logical to trade Najee but we have little depth behind him and Warren.

That kind of trade is the type which needs to be done before the draft so you have time to find his replacement easier.

He doesn't need vision with a FB blocking in front of him.

Yes he does. Harris isn't capable of following a FB. Najee has no vision at all.

Now, Warren may be a star.
