    Steelers sign QB Allen

Josh Allen's back up last year

QB room is set for 2024. No more nonsense about trading up

Lowry signed for the def line has the size the Steelers like 6'6" 295 lbs. Maybe setting up a move with Larry O??? Or just depth???

Seem to be quality depth pieces. Good moves.

Now find another decent FA CB, and have a draft like my mock suggests

yup, the old familiar signing of cheap vets as camp bodies heading into the draft.

filling out the QB room with 2 starters that have a savvy vet with a young potential franchise QB and signing an emergency guy means they can focus on other positions in the draft. Grabbing a vet D lineman also gives them flexibility. We certainly have some needs, but I prefer going into the draft with the idea of selecting best player available as opposed to drafting kendrick green because we suddenly need a starting center. The steelers still have good room against the cap and the ability to make another splash if the right opportunity presents itself. This has been a fascinating month thus far and April promises to be just as interesting.
