Bo Nix...Kenny Pickett 2.0. Overaged player who didn't get it until the end

J.J. McCarthy if someone takes him in the first round. I would describe him as an unremarkable winner.
Obviously the standard is the standard.

I hope I'm wrong but I'll go with the "Baby Bus" Estime. Fullback days are more a thing of the past. Yeah he produced behind that stud line but I'm not sold on 4.71 backs being all that in todays NFL. In the 90's he could have been drafted early in April I'm thinking he's fortunate if he gets drafted on day 3.

That CB that ran the 4.28 is jumping up draft boards, but he's skinny as a rail. Might get bulldozed.

He's probably faster than Najee, but who knows. These markers are a bit skewed, IMHO.....

The opposite of bust; whoever grabs Jayden Daniels (NE?) will have LJ2.0 at QB.

BS. Nix completion rate, yards per throw, mobility, arm strength, and command of the offense tower over Pickett's. He played very well for TWO years, not one. He's not a one year wonder like Pickett.

Have you seen him play a full game? Nix's last 27 QB starts have been excellent.

He just tunred 24. LOL, overaged player. He will be 29 after his first 5 nfl seasons, and very much still in his prime IF he get that second big contact.

Tomlin hasn't won a playoff game in seven years and counting. The earliest will be eight years. I guess that in Art Rooney's II, opinion is worth a 3 year extension.

Our 2024 draft looks to be grade A. Our 2023 draft is an A. The roster is talented, but Mike Tomlin is still the head coach.

*** Mike Tomlin is the best coach since the AFL- NFL merger that has not won a playoff game in 8 seasons or more. It's either him or Lewis. ***

Really? I think for sure he is going in round one. He has a great arm, mobility, is smart and a winner. He is not super accurate, but give him time, he's only 21! We would be lucky to get him in round one. Did you see his combine #'s?

lmao at “2 years, not 1”

Bo Nix has been playing college ball for a long time. I will not be surprised at all if he doesn’t pan out.

JJ McCarthy? I just don’t see it. In his last 5 games before the playoffs he had 1TD and 1INT and only threw for more than 150 yards once vs Purdue. He did have 3TDs vs Bama but overall I see him as a day 2 pick. He would actually fit well in a Smith offense. He is a Tannehill IMO.

A great arm? Why did Michigan hide that arm for the last 5 games? Maybe its because Harbaugh was out but it sure looked like Michigan was hiding that arm for a reason.

I think he will be great at handing the ball off and using PA but overall, I don’t see him having a solid NFL career.

Not concerned about having only one good year?

Had two good years, one more than Daniels.

He's played 4-5 games in his college career where his team wasn't cheating and giving him the answers to the test, and averaged like 150 yards per game. Reason he's only 21 is because all the rats are jumping from the sinking ship before the sanctions hit.

                            He's a total fraud.

YES, he has a very good arm. His ball velocity is very good. The second best at the combine. That is arm strength. He did not play in a system where he throw it 30+ times a game often. He also did not have a top 5 college WR or TE to make plays in the deep side of the hashmarks for him.

Now he s a BIG TEN qb. You don't tend to value them in the NFL. We know. Due to his young age ( 21 ) he has what I call more " undeveloped upside " that most.

A sure fire first round pick.

McCarthy is strong throwing the football. When asked to drop back, McCarthy shows good arm strength and the ability to throw on the move (he prefers to go to his right) and mitigate sacks with his pocket movement and athleticism, plus he also has the willingness to fire the ball over the middle of the field.
