Tomlin 5th fastest to reach 170 wins

Through all the handwringing, the Pittsburgh Steelers continue to find ways to win, even when they shouldn’t. Despite being outgained every week prior to this most recent contest, for example, they are somehow 7-4 and right in the thick of things, only one game back in the loss column from the best records in the […]

Where is he on the all time list for playoff wins for a coach who's been in the league for 16 years?

Would love to see him catch Noll by the end of next season on the way to back to back SBs.

There's really no reason why it can't happen if Kenny Pickett continues to improve as they move further and further away from Matt Canada's offensive system.

Can Faulkner and Sullivan correct and tweak enough of the offense that it actually becomes a competent NFL offense that they can continue to use into next year, or does the entire offense need to be scrapped and have Kenny learn a new system?

Hopefully Kenny and the offense in general starts to play so well that they have a difficult decision to make. Only time will tell.

I really like Faulkner. He really stood out at training camp and is one of the noticeable coaches.

                    Don?t know much about Sully?

If he makes a couple of deep playoff runs the next few years he's a HOF lock. AFC is ripe this year, here's hoping this is one of those years if the offense can add some points to the yards it is producing now.

already a lock to make the HOF but I agree, AFC is ripe this year. Feels like we could be peaking at the right time if Minkah comes back and Cam gets back into form. Cam said he isn’t there yet but is close.

If he never wins another playoff game he's not a lock, IMO.

I like Faulkner too. Here's a light read on Sullivan, and how his military background led him to football.

Sullivan has coached for 30 years, but that wasn't his goal. First, he was an Army Ranger, learning lessons he now uses with the Steelers.

you guys rant all day about how the media loves him and he is untouchable yet you think he won't make the HOF?

Youngest to win a SB when he won.
4th highest winning percentage for coaches with 150 wins in the modern era
16th most wins in the NFL, 13th in SB era
Longest tenure without a losing season.
Respected around the league by players, coaches, media, etc.

He is a shoe in for the HOF. I think if he was a Harbaugh or a HC that media didn't love he may have to wait a while but Tomlin could retire after this year and get in IMO.
