Our Tackles are not bad, they are awful! This is problem #1 and #2 with the OL, not the Center.
Tomlin hasn't won a playoff game in seven years and counting. The earliest will be eight years. I guess that in Art Rooney's II, opinion is worth a 3 year extension.

Our 2024 draft looks to be grade A. Our 2023 draft is an A. The roster is talented, but Mike Tomlin is still the head coach.

*** Mike Tomlin is the best coach since the AFL- NFL merger that has not won a playoff game in 8 seasons or more. It's either him or Lewis. ***

Cole played better week 3 and it was good to see but he was really poor weeks 1 n 2 as he may not have been 100% healthy. Glad to see him get better but he needs to get better still. He does not put anyone on skates 1 on 1.
Our tackle play does need to improve. It would not surprise anyone if Jones winds up starting at LT. How the RT situation plays out idk. Chuks can still pass block but he is anything but a road grader when not in pass pro.

I've been saying this. Moreover, they rarely pass when Naj is in. They seem to have more of a variety when Warren comes in. If we notice this, surely the professionals on the opposing teams notice this.

Canada is basically telegraphing the play with both formation and personnel.

A couple of times he slipped in a play action on some of those where Naj was in and they were easy throws for Kenny because the defense sold out to stop the same old Naj between the tackles play.

Hahahaha. Yeah; this thing about not wanting to let talented rookies play from the start is frustrating.

he's in my early mock.... I fully expect him to be a target because 1) Weidl likes to build in the trenches and 2) he's battle tested - between the SEC and all the biggins he faced in practice daily, he should be a stud.

I also see a Kwon Alexander clone coming. Given the team's affinity for bloodlines, I see Jeremiah Trotter being on the short list.

There's your full day 2 of the draft, kids...
