I expect him to catch a TD every game if we utilize him properly. Once teams respect it other guys will have their chance in 1 on 1’s and Austin should be able to make some things happen.

Hawaiam showed a fire canada video reel and the first play shown Pickens is open on a deep post. Kenny missed him.

They have youtube videos now saying how bad Canada is. Everybody can't be wrong about him. I"m sorry but this is some of the most homerish stuff I've seen. We have two to three "posters" (i want to say something else) running around trying to run around with a Matt Canada flag. Canada is a bum.

        It's a combination of ...

        1. Bad OC
        2. Bad O-line
        3. Bad Quarterback
        4. Bad lead runningback (could be debatable because of the bad O-line)

We need a reset in those areas.

quit lying.. no one is praising Canada.

at most some are saying Kenny is also
          missing open throws.

but NO ONE is running around with a Matt Canada flag.

You almost have to believe that this weekend, Canada is coaching for his job. If the O puts on another abysmal performance against the Raiders on Prime Time TV, the screams for sacking Canada will be deafening.

I disagree with you 100 percent on the OL. They can make it work with a new OC. He puts them in bad situations. Period. Watch the tape.

                      I agree with you 100%.

hard to believe Tomlin brought Matt Canada back, hiring coordinators is a major weakness of his.

                          This OC is especially bad.

I'm not saying Kenny has no blame to be shared. But, specific to Canada - no audibles. I've seen plays where i'm looking for KP to find the checkdown back, only to find that one doesn't exist. Basic failures in play design.

So, you can curse KP for not getting the first on 3rd and 1 in the 4th quarter and call it poor execution or decision making if you want. But, I strongly disagree with that assessment.
I don't like or dislike Canada. OC's look bad when QB's and offensive players fail to execute.

Specific to KP - I've seen multiple plays where KP missed open WR's (poor execution).

"You were looking for KP to find the checkdown"? What if the check down had to pass protect because of a blitz? What if the check down missed the blitz? Sometimes there is not a "check down." The QB should know the offense based on the plays that he discussed with the OC......

I don't claim to know the inner workings of the Steelers offense. I am not an offensive play designer or play calling expert. I will leave the "inner workings of offenses and defenses" to you guys.

I can say that if I had a "young" or "new" offensive or defensive team then I would attempt to make this as simple as possible for the players to have success.

Player execution is what win games is my final assessment.

Ease of execution depends on the quality of the scheme/plan. If you require all 11 men to win their matchups on every play to be successful, you never will be.

Tomlin and Canada are offensive dullards and should be the laughingstock of the league.
