do you know how stupid you sound trying to defend those stats coming back with least amount of returned yards when i've shown your why that stat is skewed

this is why i call you a R.E.T.A.R.D.
even when shown what they really mean you refuse to accept that your wrong
Kenny finished 6-1 in the second half of the season, 4-0 the last games and 2 game winning drives and a football in Canton as a rookie.

Do we move on from him due to a stat that says 31st in a category?

See how stupid your argument sounds basing the decision to keep a player on 2 stat lines?

and how is the stat skewed? Harvin had 7 punts land out of bounds and all of them weren't shanks. While he had a few you guys like to embellish like it happens ALL the time. 62 punts that didn't go out of bounds. There is no way you can flip 137 return yards into a negative dude.

how about in the bottom 25% of yards per carry.

how about of kenny is 31st among starting QBs in completion %

      anyone in favor of that?

but but what if naj was 2nd in the league in yards gained after contact behind the LOS.
everyone here would be ok with those stats for the upcoming year ?
Not just Kenny, now you also want to move on from Najee as well?

Reading that we get their 4th and they get our 5th.

If true, I like that. 4th rounders are good picks. And maybe gives us ammunition if we want to move up.

I liked Dotson and hope he gets a chance to do something where he's not so far down on the depth chart.

I think he's a real NFL player. Maybe getting the "proven performance" bonus this year got him traded...that and IS becoming available and choosing to come to us.

If you watch the games why must you ask?

If you watch the game you?d know Harvin dropped a beautiful punt that was recovered on the three.

            • 4th & 14 at ATL 38

              (1:22 - 2nd) P.Harvin punts 35 yards to ATL 3, Center-C.Kuntz, downed by PIT-D.Fitzpatrick.

Any punter can boom punts. Harvin is OUTSTANDING at what we see here. But if he’d kick out the end zone, his average ypp would make you happy.

In view of the fact that Mike Tomlin has matched Cowhers record I give him the designation:

The Coach Formerly Considered Less Than Cowher

yes, if naj is the 31 st ranked starting RB in 2023 in rushing yards, healthy, and given the snaps and i wouldn't want him back. that's common sense

what is there about being 31st in punt average and bottom of the league in net average.( 2 of the biggest stats used to measured punters success) that you can't get thru your thick fcuking skull, retard

this is why i have to always point out to get your head out of tomlin's ass. you can't see the obvious here.

even a punt that travels 41 yards (his average) fom the LOS with 0 yards
returned (the latter being your preferred stat) is netting near the bottom of the league!!!!!!!!!!

                  god damn you're stupid.

it was a comparison of 2 of the most important stats a QB can have. just like punt avg and punt net ave are the 2 most important stats for punters.

some how you think being 2nd in yards returned is more important then the other 2.

Took a look at the Rams schedule it looked difficult. That Ram pick could be a high one at least in 24.

You are just tossing out insults for the hell of it.

and Najee ranked low on ypc which is important to most folks yet it doesn?t tell the whole story on his production because he is the short yardage back as well. But keep screaming retard. Makes you look intelligent on here.

nah.. I just think there are more than 2 stats to consider when discussing Harvin.

Not out of character, Danny Smith snapped. There might have even been a characteristic profanity at one point when the Pittsburgh Steelers special teams coordinator recently was asked a question by a media member that referenced punter Pressley Harvin III’s inconsistency. “Oh, no, no — he don’t look inconsistent,” Smith

His NY/P is not exactly bottom of the league. And if you notice, there isn't much difference for a wide group clustered in the middle. Less than a yard. And his camp competition? Right there with him....

Punting is tough to get a handle on because it depends on players other than the punter (blocking, return defense) for long punts. On short punts (for placement) is where they show their skill. Season to season can vary a lot too. An example is the guy that led the league (Bailey) a couple seasons ago followed up with a meh season the next. In any case Harvin's pay is about where his performance falls.

Amazing how ball placement, pinning teams deep instead of kicking it out of the endzone and getting good coverage isn’t important. Just those 2 stats, one if which doesn’t even have him 31st like he claims.
