For a trade? Not that I know of..

He was available for an offer that the Raven’s could match as an unrestricted FA.

Now that he made it known publicly I think teams will make a play for him and also try to get him for the low low since they know he wants out.

Pretty sure they have been saying it already. Owners do not want to make fully guaranteed contracts the norm.

        Yes, that was my point.
I didn’t see teams falling all over him offering him a contract (for the ravens to potentially match).
Based on the Lamar fans here, it seems like it should have happened.
How is it possible to have the best owner, best front office, best gm, best HC, good/great drafts every year and good FA acquisitions every year, but only have 3 playoff wins in 14 years?

I doubt that's been working for him. Betting on 31 other owners being as dumb as 1 is fairly long odds. Maybe he can find another moron in the crowd, but so far it doesn't appear that way. I still think he needs an agent in a very bad way.

Has he really had more success?
I’d be more concerned that Jackson has been injured (or faked injury) the past couple seasons added to his declining stats.

I was talking to a fellow Louisville alum about how I think he needs an agent over the weekend. I would imagine that with an agent, a deal would have been done already. But, I would imagine that it's easy to hear a guy that speaks like he does and feel like you can out-negotiate him.

Not sure if the clip that he tweeted is the letter that you are referring to, but I did see a couple of grammatical errors there that would have been caught by an agent/professional.

He has a 74% Win percentage. Watson doesn't come close to sniffing that.

I know I wouldn’t put together all that work for the Raven’s to match it..

and maybe ruin the relationship with the QB’s I already have on my roster.

Jackson's problem is with six months to the start of the season, no team can redesign their offense for him in time for the 2023 season

It's not Jackson's talent that is in question, it is what you have to change to take advantage of it

I think Lamar wants the kind of contract Deshaun Watson got

So far, it doesn't look like anyone wants to go that far

TBH, I think Cleveland way overpaid for the services of the Massage Magnate ... it may be that no other team is quite as dumb as the Clowns

“I want to first thank you all for all of the love and support you consistently show towards me,” Jackson wrote. “All of you are amazing and I appreciate y’all so much. I want you all to know not to believe everything you read about me. Let me personally answer your questions in regards to my future plans.”
                        “As of March 2
nd I requested a trade from the Ravens organization for which the Ravens has not been interested in meeting my value, any and everyone that’s has met me or been around me know I love the game of football and my dream is to help a team win the super bowl. You all are great but I had to make a business decision that was best for my family and I. No matter how far I go or where my career takes me, I’ll continue to be close to my fans of Baltimore Flock nation and the entire State of Maryland. You’ll See me again.”
I'm pretty sure that can be cleaned up grammatically.

Depends on what you define as success. Winning games or individual stats?

Its what makes Lamar so stubborn IMO.

Just as much success without the off field problems and can’t get the same money?

He needs to understand Cleveland went crazy this get Watson.

He said he won't play on the tag this season. So if a team offers the tag amount then the Ravens must match or lose him. But the signing team is stuck because he won't play for the tag amount, so he'll have to sit out 2023. It's a screwed up negotiation that he created.

Weird how some won't admit that LJ didn't turn out to be a total flop and bust in the NFL and set the Ravens franchise back 5 years.

"Jackson's playmaking ability has made the Ravens one of the most successful teams over the past five seasons. His record of 45-16 is the fourth-best of any quarterback who debuted in the Super Bowl era, trailing only Patrick Mahomes, Tom Brady and Roger Staubach. Jackson was named the NFL's MVP after the 2019 season. The Ravens have struggled without Jackson the past two seasons, going 3-9 in his absence."

Lamar Jackson said Monday that he has requested a trade from the Ravens as the team "has not been interested in meeting my value" in contract talks.
