Pretty sure I said every few years a few fans try to hype a mediocre white utility player and predict he will win a few games for us and it never happens.

did I call Gunner a stereotypical white name? did I make up a fake scenario using stereotypes to joke him?

I’m sure I joked him not having swag, because someone said he would win games because he had “swag”

but I do remember you saying his fumble in preseason wasn’t anything to be concerned about due to the play call.

tired of comments about Ben from 3 or 4 years ago? Most people in here recognize your frustration is due to my comments about Ben.. because you keep bringing them up when pressed

but that cant be the excuse for terrible examples about Ben and Lamar that make you look bad..

if that is the case you need a healing. You are carrying this baggage from 3 years ago and it’s affecting your ability to post rationally.

I'd put McNabb on the next tier...and Picket isn't even in the next tier below that if we are being honest.

He's a rookie. I get it but things like arm strength, reading, a defense, and accuracy are below average for a 4 year QB college standing QB today....if we are being honest.

I hope he can show me and prove me wrong. Let him play out the season. I don't care one iota is he throws 8 more picks.
Tomlin hasn't won a playoff game in seven years and counting. The earliest will be eight years. I guess that in Art Rooney's II, opinion is worth a 3 year extension.

Our 2024 draft looks to be grade A. Our 2023 draft is an A. The roster is talented, but Mike Tomlin is still the head coach.

*** Mike Tomlin is the best coach since the AFL- NFL merger that has not won a playoff game in 8 seasons or more. It's either him or Lewis. ***

Bottom line, at some point the Steelers are gonna have to make the call on whether KP brings enough to his game that he can beat the division opponents.
With 4 of those games in the back half it's gonna be a good start to building the case one way or another.

at some point? Like this year or for his 5th year option?

He has yet to play a division opponent but we have to make a hard decision?

I agree on building a case but I'm curious on when that decision needs to be made.

Andy Dalton was the better QB his rookie season. Not by much but better. KP's ceiling is more likely that of Dalton than even a Cutler. So yes comparing him to the greats in the game is insane to me.

Not sure what your point is about Reggie Wayne. He was a volunteered as a WR coach and was hired in 2022. That is more 2 more years of NFL experience than Saturday.

                      Your point?

If I constantly play the race card you play it twice as often as I do because all you do is bring up Tomlin's race and how it's used to his advantage. Which is laughable given the stats.

You suggest I play the race card but time and time again I show proof of the privilege afforded to a white player becoming a head coach with no coaching experience?

Saturday is the first time a person IN THE HISTORY OF THE NFL with no coaching experience in college or the NFL. Your response is "Tomlin only had 1 year as an OC"

You don't even see it. Tomlin had 10 years of college and NFL coaching experience before being hired and you compare him to Jeff Saturday who has NO EXPERIENCE.

That isn't playing the race card dude.. that is showing you how ridiculous it is to bring up Tomlin when discussing Saturday.

                          Reasonable response Joel.

Extreme physical arm talent might be the difference. If Bradshaw was not EXTREMELY gifted I doubt he'd have near the same success he had. With average Bradyesque talent Bradshaw is not even an NFL starter.

Kennys success has to be dependent on above the neck. Gotta hope his ability to process "football" situations quickly are not reflected in a wonderlic score.

In view of the fact that Mike Tomlin has matched Cowhers record I give him the designation:

                          TCFCLTC-
The Coach Formerly Considered Less Than Cowher

you think I brought up Wayne just because he was Black? lmao..

You do realize Wayne played for the Colts just like Saturday but he also has more experience as a coach and is on staff. I also followed up my post with other coaches being passed over but Wayne was pointed out because he was a former player.. weird you don't see the obvious. Well, not really.

You did defend Gunners fumble and said it wasn't a big deal because it was 4th down and a bad play call. I brought up Gunner being the great white hope because Shawn said he had "swag" and would win games for us. It was a silly prediction. Everything isn't about you.. but you did shrug off his fumble which is hilarious because ball security is why he was demoted.

last point is just another example of your obsession with implying Tomlin is some hood ghetto stereotype because he connects with players who are mostly Black.

Yeah I found that last line sadly funny and ironic. No no no it's not about race but Tomlin is ghetto. I mean you can't make this stuff up.
