Mine was crystal clear but the audio feed was ahead of the visual. I had to turn the sound down.
Streaming sucks

I stream everything. Regular TV networks via YouTubeTV. Other stuff via Nexflix. Amazon Prime. AppleTV. It all streams quite well through Verizon FIOS's lowest tier of service (100 Mbps). And last night was no different for me. I'm picky about picture quality and the game was very good quality.
The only bad streaming service I've had so far is NFL Sunday ticket. First weekend I couldn't even login. Second weekend, I could only watch about half the game until DirecTV's awful streaming service just stopped working. They've given me credits for both weekends but it's clear they've checked out of caring about the customer's experience since their contract is up.Comment

they had a lot of complaints about that. It struck me last night that when you typically watch a streaming service, you get a few seconds of buffering and that covers any hiccups in the feed coming down the pipe. But with a live feed, you don't get that.
I literally paused for maybe 15 seconds, then let it play and had no more problems.2013 MNF Executive Champion!

The issue I had was the audio was a few seconds ahead of the video, thus ruining the suspense and the play for me. Mid-1st quarter I turned the audio completely off.Help me find my post proving I am a Yinzer!Comment

I didn’t see any issues with the telecast.
I was watching from my computer. The phone seemed to work nicely as well.
And I’m n a pretty densely populated area in jerseyComment

Even your TV can "slow down the feed" if it's not optimized to run the app in the TV's operating system. I have the Amazon 4k FireStick. It seems to be pretty well optimized to stream all the popular apps. And I would think it has as good a chance of running Amazon's app as efficiently as any TV. The direct connection between the stick and the 4k HDMI port isn't slowing anything down.Last edited by Eich; 09-24-2022, 09:43 AM.Comment

Correct, I went right thru my TV. The video portion was the best I've seen. No slowdown or buffering.

Of course, if you're connecting your SmarTV to a wired ethernet port of your router, then you'll have the best internet connection as opposed to a wireless connection (assuming it's not a super long ethernet cable). But my FireStick is literally 2 ft. from my FIOS wireless router, so the connection is always very stable and fast.Last edited by Eich; 09-24-2022, 09:50 AM.Comment

Not sure if this is related but last week's game against NE on Sunday ticket was terrible. Stream dropped for most of the game. When I called Directtv they blame it on the "NFL feed" and not their service. Apparently there are multiple streams going out of the NFL system and any one of them can be independently affected. Don't know, beyond my pay grade.Comment
