Offense always failed to capitalize when within 7 points. No one should be shocked by this, often times teams fight back and then fall short due to trying way too hard to make splash plays.

Funny how this all goes back to a thread that was on the board last week. Would we rather have a loss with KP playing well or a win where.....well we alll saw how he played in a win. The board has been full of negative postings about the direction of the team all week (and with valid reasoning) after a win. By and large the fanbase was not happy after the win. I think that 0-2 would have also brought out a ton of negative posts, but a strong QB performance would have brought out a lot of promising posts for the rest of the season. I think that this game answered that question.
