The big salary cap hits of Mahommes contract are gonna kick in and the league gets to snipe their best free agents.

In view of the fact that Mike Tomlin has matched Cowhers record I give him the designation:

    TCFCLTC-
The Coach Formerly Considered Less Than Cowher

I'd never count Mahomes out.. with this offensive line intact anyways..
Good skill players hit the ground running in this league..

Chiefs got arrogant at the end of both halves. Just take the points. Reid spit the bit.

So QBs in the meat of their contracts, don’t win Super Bowls?

Only if they're married to supermodels.

It will get harder for them.

But I also think the length of his contract helps them a bit here. They have a lot of road to kick the cap hit down (although only 5 years at a time, and the future hits will add up).

I hope he doesn't pass Ben in SB wins and appearances. It will be harder for him moving forward.

                    Not consistently.

Too many terrible coaches in the NFL I guess

Having a franchise QB on a rookie deal is an advantage. That’s not debatable.

But it’s also possible to win with a seasoned vet.

If the Steelers go with MR - they will not (thus far) have a Franchise QB who is also not on a rookie deal. It’s the worst of both worlds.

KC fans need to get rid of Andy Reid, they have held on to him for far too long.

just look at how many Super Bowls the Dolphins have won since they got rid of that bum Don Shula...

                          agreed all around.

and they might not win the SB, but I bet their in the final 4 / final 2 discussion in the near future. they know where their bread is buttered

I doubt they have that 70's mentality where they'll draft 9 of 12defensive guys in the top 60 in a 6 year span

What stud FAs got sniped from us ?
How is it possible to have the best owner, best front office, best gm, best HC, good/great drafts every year and good FA acquisitions every year, but only have 3 playoff wins in 14 years?

                              but but but....

the Bengals selected a WR over an OL in the first round of the draft last year.

I thought I read on here that you can't win that way.
