Great article. BB's comments on his passing is the most telling. He throws a strong pretty ball. The knocks on his accuracy are complete rubbish. If you don't know where people are supposed to be youll be inaccurate. His issue is with knowledge of the PB and his ability to read a D at the next level. He has the tools and I think hes our future franchise QB.
        Trolls are people too.

          I swear I'm not stalking. I was watching this vid just as your post came up. Came across this analysis of Haskin's game. Got some positives and some negatives;

Seems some stuff is correctable with coaching and study.

          Summary:

Positives; pocket awareness, avoiding pressure, athletic

Negatives; throwing outside the pocket, reading a defense, knowing the PB, processing at NFL game speed

This (or Mason) is the best base scenario.

I don't think Mason can do it based on his year at the helm.

Hopefully, getting released forces Haskins to reflect on how he can reach his ceiling. My guess is that it's rare for a guy to bounce back, but not impossible.

Hopefully Mike Sullivan (our new QB coach) can help Haskins find that spark.

Haskin’s was such a great pick up. I’m glad they listened to me.. lol.

seriously tho, so cheap with huge upside but if it doesn’t work out we cut our losses and its next to nothing.

We need for a lucky break to happen for us. It would be awesome for the light bulb to turn on for this guy and then we could put a really good team around him.

if only we had Cowher as our head coach...

then we could go to the AFCCG at home and lose.

Haskins will never be more than a mediocre QB in the NFL...if that. Can't get by on physical talent alone. Got to have the smarts to be successful in the NFL and haskins hasn't shown he has that.

Ill give him a chance before burying him. He’s only 24. The change in scenery and coaches can work wonders.

Unfortunately, this is the most likely outcome.

Hopefully he can beat the odds.

I'm so glad you believe that. Because you are so often wrong that if you supported Haskins it would be the kiss of death.

It doesn't take any scouting talent to be a nay sayer about a QB and predicting failure. Mathematically speaking that's the way to go. But, if Haskins doesn't succeed it's not because he doesn't have elite NFL talent. It's because he doesn't do the work to understand the NFL game and the PB. I don't know where his head is at. It's my only concern. I know how good this guy is. He throws one of the prettiest balls into tight pockets. He is a 3-4 deep read QB. His head is on a swivel with elite arm talent. His issue and only issue has been maturity and sloth. We shall see how much he wants this.
