I'll be the first to admit that I liked the move when it was made, thinking it was low risk. Obviously, I was wrong.
I thought, at a minimum, he could contribute as a return guy. I'm not sure why the Steelers are releasing him now, but there must be something beyond his ability (or inability) to pick up the defense.
