    Moore and Bryant

It is scary how much more are offense has opened up since these 2 guys have been put on the field. My question is why was Justin Brown taking time away from these 2 guys for the first 6 weeks. Makes no sense. I guarantee if these 2 were on the field sine week 1 we are 6-2 if not 7-1 . Sometimes these coach"s out think themselves. This offense is pretty scary right now. Indy def has been chewing people up. And we handled them all day. Hats off to the Oline.

Agreed - the coaching staff has made some head scratching decisions. Why Adams was never given a shot at RT is another mystery. He's been stellar, better than Gilbert, but hasn't had a chance there since his rookie year. Cam Thomas, Cortez Allen are a couple more.

Wasn't one of them not playing due to an injury early on?? I was thinking it was Bryant, but could be wrong. Very happy with their progress and how much confidence Ben has in them. Definitely needed someone to step up to take all the pressure off of Brown.

Moore was injured. Bryant looked shaky in practice for the first third of the season per Jim Wexell.
Actually, my post was NOT about you...but, if the shoe fits, feel free to lace that &!+€# up and wear it.

when asked why he wasn't playing more before last game Moore said "I don't know, you have to ask the coaches"

which implies he felt he wasn't getting playing time when he was ready/healthy.

maybe since Adams has been a revolving door since entering the league?

Adams had a HORRIBLE game versus the Vikings and I think we have unfairly used that game to define his whole career.

Yeah, and when they finally got McCullers in there this week, he shed a chop block with great athleticism, and ran down an off tackle rush and made a devastating tackle at the LOS.
Even if Bill Belichick was getting an atomic wedgie, his face would look exactly the same.

Bryant had while showing much potential had a bad case of preseason dropsies. Moore was injured and gradually got the slot position.

Monday morning QBing I easy after the fact, its not like it took a whole season, or was repeatedly cut like James Harrison.

In view of the fact that Mike Tomlin has matched Cowhers record I give him the designation:

This is true and on top of that he just was not ready to get playing time. His route running is a work in process. He was working on route techniques at camp that you learn at the high school level. Doesn't mean he can't learn it just saying he hadn't learned it prior. On top of that he was looked at as a body catcher in college and though he has shown the ability to hand catch the last two games that one drop Sunday was a case of letting the ball get to his body. At camp he showed good hands but he wasn't there on the routes. Looks like it took a few months but the product we are starting to see now is impressive.
I mentioned prior that at camp Bryant was taking extra reps and working on technique well after practice. We have started to see those extra hours start to pay off. Bryant has starter ability and a very high ceiling.

Moore also dropped a few key passes when they tried to insert him in the lineup. As for Bryant I don't care whether the steelers have a rookie of the year. What I'd like to see them develop are guys who pro bowl caliber year after year.
As many on this site think ... The Rooney's suck, Colbert sucks, Tomlin sucks, the coaches suck, and the players suck.

                        but Go Steelers!!!

I think the drop was due to looking up field before he caught it.

It happens to the best WR's so I'm not too concerned with that play. I'm just glad it wasn't the first pass of his career. Could have killed his confidence and led to a benching.

No not a whole season but it is not hard to see the difference. What did Justin Brown do to deserve the time. Bryant athletically makes us much better. a mismatch that is doing fine in the heat of game. Lance moore knows more about the wr position than Brown ever will. Closest thing we could have replaced cothery with. All of a sudden the time we start these guys the offense pics up. Not coincidence .

yeah, I could see if these guys were struggling once they were inserted but they are so much better and the impact is so much bigger the moment they hit the field.

I felt the same way about Deebo. As soon as he started he had an insane game.

When players touch the field and their impact is immediate it's hard to believe they weren't ready. Especially given who we were playing at the time. I guess we saved them for when we really needed them.
