Question for you "Mockers"

Question to all those that have provided a mock or plan to...

Are your picks geared towards who YOU want the Steelers to pick or who you think the Steelers WILL pick.

If the mocks are based on who you want the Steelers to pick, I wonder how much your mocks would change if you had to predict who the Steelers will pick.

Chadman tries to go on who he thinks the Steelers will pick.

In the latest Chadman mock, in the 1st, Chadman THINKS Arthur Brown might be the guy, but Chadman WANTS Xavier Rhodes, if truth be told.

At WR Chadman thinks the Steelers will want Josh Boyce, or Rodney Smith... but if it were up to Chadman, Marcus Wheaton or Chris Harper.

The Steelers look like they want a LeVeon Bell, Montee Ball or Eddie Lacy type RB, but Chadman would prefer a Bernard, Franklin or Ellington.

The Steelers & Chadman might be on the same page with Shamarko Thomas at least.

Like Chadman I tried to pick who the Steelers might pick, although since I picked my mock early a few of my picks moved up the charts like Le'veon Bell who I picked in the fourth and Eifert.in the second. Xavier Rhodes was may first pick and thought the Steelers would draft him, now he probably will be gone when we pick.

I have gone with who I think the Steelers will pick. I probably wouldn't go with S in the first, but I believe that is how it will roll.

I do a combination of both really. I always put at least 1 WVU player in my draft because hey.... But really I look at the steeler's needs, I reference who they visit with and you can generally get a good idea or feel of who they will draft. You never know what they will do trade wise or what their thoughts of people are, but you can generally get a good idea.

There are some players which Steelers have interest like Collins and S Thomas...

I don't think Steelers have shown any interest in Trufant or Austin...

My confidence in Trufant being the pick is waning as well. With CB not being drafted in the first very often and no one at his pro day, etc.

I tried to do my mock predicting who the Steelers would take, not who I would like them to take. Although Trufant is also someone I would like to have on the team. I think Millner and Rhoades go earlier.

If I could trade back I would like to go

1. Hopkins WR Clemson
2. Cyprien S FIU
2. Slay CB Miss St
3. Greene LB Rutgers or Bell RB MSU
4. Kelce TE Cincy if character plays out
4. AJ Klein LB Iowa St.

then address as the board goes.

I don't mock because I simply don't watch enough amateur ball to know about these players. That said, I do look at the teams needs and provide my take on what type of players would seem to make sense based on consensus reports.
