When is "Boomer" and Bradshaw and the other haters in the media gonna realize it's Steeler nation that pays their enormous salaries??
Could you imagine a Chiefs/Ravens game or a Saints/Packers match? It would get beat in the ratings by the Food Network and Home Shopping probably. Idiots in the media have the notion that Pittsburgh is a "small market" like the ones I mentioned above, they fail to understand about 1 out of every 5 family in the sunbelt cities and pacific northwest are all diehard Pens-Pirates-Steelers-Pitt/PSU/Duq fans.
I get so sick of the egghead players turned broadcasters holding grudges in their "objective journalism" like Boomer cheering that the Steelers were down 21-7 at the half and Collingsworth, Sharpe et. al. The ratings prove that even with the Cryboys (national following) or any NY team (winning the NY market in the ratings you could make a profit and lose every other market) and possibly the Bears, Raiders or Skins (secondary markets but among the wealthiest) the Steelers bring the networks the most money, period.
