    Washington is a monster.

Jones looks better at LT so far than RT.

    Defense looks horrible.

I will tip my hat to Tomlin if he has a winning record and the team makes the play-offs in the upcoming season.

              Run game needs work.
Skylar Thompson looked well in hurry up.
Washington with the first RZ TD (19 yards) and made it look easy.

D played bend don’t break defense for the most part.
Jags kicker made a 70 yard with room to spare
              Thornhill had a nice hit.
Apparently Beanie Bishop sucks according to some on here but I think its a bit of hyperbole.

Its preseason. Nothing really happened that stands out IMO.
Pretty good recap. I'd add Sawyer was very active all over the field but just quite couldn't make a big play or quite get to the QB. 2nd string DL had no pass rush......that coverage & pop by Thornhill reminded me so much of Ryan Clark!

The only 2 starters were Thornhill & Wilson vs Jags starters.

Ya I was going to say I thought the D was pretty good against the Jags starters considering we werent playing anyone. Also people need to realize that the defenses in these games are very vanilla.

Good review. How do you think our OL played?

The path is clear for Wilson to win the other WR job. And IMO he is one track to do so at the close of camp. Man can ball.

The path is blocked for Washington to advance, but I hope Tomiln considers moving the man up the depth chart to #2 TE or even #1 TE. This monster of a man is impressive as a blocker and a receiver.

The path for Jack Sawyer will open up...when one of our two OLB/DE goes down.

K Johnson...stock down. The man does not show enough burst to be a factor. RB is a position where guys are ready to produce as rookies as runners.

Did Harmon every play? I know he did, but his pre-season debut was a zero. Next game he will be better.

Rodgers may not play this pre-season. I think he is very injury prone meaning Rudlpoh who looked good as the starting QB ( 3-0 ) last year and last night will have an opening to be QB1 sometime this season. He is definitely outshining Rodgers in camp. I hear Howard's injury is only a broken pinkie and he might play in the last pre-season game.

I expected more from our DB's. They are an excellent group.
Tomlin hasn't won a playoff game in seven years and counting. The earliest will be eight years. I guess that in Art Rooney's II, opinion is worth a 3 year extension.

Our 2024 draft looks to be grade A. Our 2023 draft is an A. The roster is talented, but Mike Tomlin is still the head coach.

*** Mike Tomlin is the best coach since the AFL- NFL merger that has not won a playoff game in 8 seasons or more. It's either him or Lewis. ***

I wrote this before Sawyer got in.

He looks like he belongs. Depth at OLB is going to be strong this year.

OL was good in pass protection and terrible at run blocking.

Mt Washington is legit. Dude should be our starting TE. He can do it all.

Kaleb didn’t have any burst because there was no where to go. Its early so I’m not going to bash him. Would be nice to see what he can do when the OL actually does their job.

We barely played any starters on defense. Not sure why people bashed their performance. Thought they played okay.

It was also a 3 n out but since coach said only first series for starters he let them go for a 4th & 2 at own 40

How many starters sat out? 8? 9? Not worried.

Leal is slow, looks like he’s running in a pool. Imagine they’ll look better with Watt and Highsmith.

LOL, only took the first shot of Tomlin for the announcers to mention “no losing seasons”.

It was exciting to see them be in late season form and not have a play to convert 4th and 1.
