The thing that irritates me the most is I apologized a couple of times to him when I was in the wrong about certain information. Dude can't ever do the right thing.
If he still has you blocked, perhaps he can't see your messages and thus doesn't respond?

I'm sure he still has me blocked but from my understanding he can see my comments if someone responds to one of my posts.

I agree with TJ and Minkah at the right price because of the return they'd bring. Minkah is still a heavy dead cap hit ($13.7M) but saves over $8M in '25 and removes the big $24.4M cap number for '26. I don't even think a first is needed. I'd be willing to go second and fourth for him. He's still only 28 years old and will be available for two years at a decent number to the new team ($15.5M & $17.6M). Watt is 30 and entering the last year of his deal. Steelers eat over $9M but save over $21M, which is a nice number for the acquiring team. I'd like a first and another pick. I'm even happy for the other pick to be next year, which is trade capital in case you want to move up for a QB in '26.
Yeo.. Watt is going to get us the most picks and I'm down for trading Minkah too.

          How about MOVING Watt around?

Watt rushed 546 times on the left side and 8 anywhere else.

          That's just lazy and predictable.

and no one is afraid of Watt in December or January. They look forward to playing him and using his pass rush against the defense. This is why he was been a ghost lately.

Reportedly, TJ has been resistant to moving around because he prefers rushing from the left.

In recent comments however, he has softened his stance and is now open to the idea because he has come to realize how easily he is schemed out of games.

The fact that he didn't agree to that change (or wasn't made to) until after yet another disappointing, defense-disappearing conclusion to a season? Well, it speaks volumes about this team and why we're in the current condtion

First time I remember hearing about this was when Bud was on the team (or maybe just after he left)? Or maybe it was Debo?

Said that there was some crazy thing he could do on that side that he couldn't do on the other side. My guess is probably that he can bend the edge much better on that side because he can dip much lower and keep his balance.

My guess is that this is as much about getting older as it is about the side he's rushing from.

Bump after the Garrett request. TJ will be wasted here, not winning a Super Bowl in 2025, likely not in 2026 even if they get a Manning, 2nd year QBs have had a little success winning it all (Brady, Mahomes, Ben). So at soonest, 2027? How good will TJ be by then?

And if they DON’T get a QB in 2026, or if he flops?

Everyone any good will be wasted here until we get a QB and rebuild the line. But the Steelers rarely get rid of veterans who are good players. TJ is the face of the defense. I would be shocked if the Steelers traded him, even if I support the idea to get some picks.

Here's the thing if we trade him to a team good enough to win a SB, that means they are picking in the 20's. TJ is worth more then that to the Steelers.

A trade situation might be say the Bears who pick 10th and we trade him for that pick. He'd be going from the frying pan to the fire. I saw something about the Packers trading for him. That would be a 20+ pick. I don't see a winning scenario for the Steelers. We will extend him for 3 or 4 years and then he will be on the downhill and we will work something out then.

How much is Watt really worth to the Steelers? 2 or 3 win IMO. He is amazing early in the season and fades on the back end.

We definitely need multiple picks for TJ.
