The ads on here are so bad, I was reading Joel's post and it's divided up into 3 separate sections with a giant ad block, then a couple lines of his post and then a smaller ad block and then more of his post wtf. This is also my blocker of choice. I took too long to move to Firefox and was using something different on Chrome / Brave.

I haven't complained all season - because I'm not a mod, I don't have to do any of the work and I appreciate those who put the time in to manage this board.

But now that the season is winding down, this update that was done just prior to the start has been horrific. The ads are relentless, it's still slow, no more smiley's, no ability to enter a thread from the last read post, i have to constantly scroll to where I last left off - basically, the site runs now about as effectively as a Matt Canada offense.

I wish we could go back to the old build.

You can find the name of one ad blocker already in this post. It works very well on this site.

If you're browser doesn't have that ad blocker, I'd imagine that looking for the highest rated one in that browser's app store would also work just fine.
