First, let me post a couple of graphics. Then I'll give you my interpretation of them:
OFFENSE:

Looking at the offense (top chart) it's obvious that the Steelers have more wins than would be implied by the league average trend. Perhaps it's because the defense was far better than the league? But when you look at the second chart, the Steelers defense falls right on the line where you would expect based on points against.
Going back to the first chart, the other way to look at it is that the offense scored far fewer points than the league trend would imply for the total wins they had (a better defense). But we already said the points against looks like it produced about the right number of wins based on the league trend.
Still, something doesn't appear quite right. KC in particular looks like an enigma. What is going on?
