Totally agree. We haven’t had anything close to competent QB play for four years. Now that we do, we just let that walk away?

I really think some “fans” want this team to fail

If the trend continues I'd be happy to see them sign Wilson to a 3-yer deal. I think it will happen, he seems pretty happy here and Tomlin seems to love him.

I would think the Steelers would be willing to do something like 3 years for 25M$ per year base and 5 to 8 M$ per incentives. They won't give him more then that.

That's assuming he doesn't take us to the SB. That would bump it up perhaps 25 %. That's how the Rooney's roll.

Is that a floating number depending on how far in the playoffs they go? i.e, what if he gets them to the divisional round? SB?

    Wilson 2025 Contract Offer

Still too early in my mind to commit to Wilson next year but speculation is all over the map on what he might command for his next contract:

ESPN’s Dan Graziano recently took a crack at estimating Wilson’s next contract following his latest gutsy win over the Bengals on Sunday. To no surprise, the Steelers QB is due another massive deal.

Well, define “big.” Wilson turned 36 years old last week, and his two years in Denver before this season in Pittsburgh were downright abysmal. He’s not getting the Dak Prescott four-year, $240 million deal. But could he get the Baker Mayfield three-year, $100 million deal? If he and the Steelers keep winning, that doesn’t seem impossible.

I would do a Baker deal without hesitating. But at least one analyst thinks his agent will be starting at $55M/yr.

Your Kahn, what is your cutoff point? I don't think I would go beyond $40M/yr for 2 years. Maybe throw in a few mill on incentives?
