Who said hate? I’m talking about ball-breaking and guy talk, n-bombs galore, gay jokes and slurs, trash talk about mommas and sisters, etc. What is the locker room talk on HK, in depth discussion about the middle eastern situation?

That exists in some form however you maybe distorting how much also. There is also a lot of discussion like that which appears on Hard Knocks and that is not fake, it is real.

Hard knocks has made me like Mike Tomlin a lot more than I did previously.

With that said, I still think he and his coaching staff lack the ability to evaluate in real time what’s working and what’s not and act accordingly or they make a game plan and will stick by it come hell or high water.

However, this is just nitpicking. He’s the best possible coach we could ask for this point in time and he’s getting it done his way. However, the fun of being a fan is thinking that you’re better than everyone else at coaching and you should be getting paid millions of dollars, at least to me that’s the fun of being a fan.

If I left winning and losing the only criteria for cheering and being a fan, I would be bored to death.

FWIW, it didn't seem like you were happy about the wins we had with Fields (didn't open up the offense enough so he couldn't get enough stats). Or the losses (coaching staff holding him back). Or us deciding to go with Russ over Fields (old guy who's only getting a job because it was ordained by Tomlin on day 1 and Fields is getting the shaft)

It's probably just that it's the internet and (1) tone gets distorted and (2) this is a reasonable place to vent about football stuff because there are other people that know and like football.

The happiest Windy has been is after losses when he gets to roast Tomlin and blame COTY talk.. lol.

I don't think the locker rooms and players are filled with the level of hate that you think everybody has

When the team wins and celebrated with locker room video.. some fans got MAD. Andy Reid wouldn't celebrate, Sean Payton wouldn't celebrate. Then we showed Payton and Reid dancing and celebrating in locker rooms and they went dark or changed the subject.

Teams mic up players for every game each week across the NFL. They bleep stuff out or edit out what may seem offensive because they don't want to get fined. I know you can swear on HBO but you can also show nudity and they wouldn't dare show players naked in the locker room. While some women and.. some men, may enjoy that, not showing it doesn't make it fake.

its weird as hell to say since they aren't showing the offensive stuff its "not real". That sounds ridiculous.

I'm learning things I didn't know previously
the environment on the south side appears to promote teamwork, mutual support and a focus on winning.

It shows you the meetings they sit in and the preparation that is put into their opponents. It isn't going to show you their scheme, but from what you see it's obvious their is alot of game planning and it isn't just let's line up and see what happens as people suggest.

There is nothing about X's and 0's in that clip. Tomin is a good dude to the players, but I need to see something on game day ( like he is holding play charts ) or something on hard knocks in the week before that highlights his football acumen.

Any head coach in the NFL can prepare. It's logistics and tactics on offense and one defense talking to his guys watch out for XYZ here. That is the stuff I am talking about. I say Tomiln is sub par here.

If you haven't seen something on GameDay then you obviously don't know what your looking at. Who cares "what you need to see", your sitting on your couch questioning the football acumen of guy who has coached for 20+ years at the highest levels and will one day get inducted into the Hall of Fame. Mike Tomlin has demonstrated football acumen for decades, you not noticing is a problem with your football acumen.
