Hard Knocks.......finally

This is an extreme take and I don't think this is true. That would be like saying players are faking when they are playing games because they know millions of people are watching them. Players forget millions of people are watching them when they are playing and just do what comes naturally.

I think that's true for Hard Knocks also. They may feel some awareness at first that they are on camera, but it is impossible for all of these individuals who never took acting lessons to assume fake personas spontaneously. They soon just do what they would do normally.

You ever hear the banter when a player or coach is Mic’d Up? Totally banal and fake.

Not saying they’re all acting from a script, but they’re being careful with what is said and you can be damn sure every team on it had meetings telling the players what to avoid.

I can also guarantee the general public would be aghast at the topic of conversation in a men’s locker room.

You have a really poor opinion of people in general and athletes. I've been in locker rooms as a youth and I don't think everything was focused on hate, racism, misogyny and homophobia. I think most of the time people tried to have fun.

FWIW, it didn't seem like you were happy about the wins we had with Fields (didn't open up the offense enough so he couldn't get enough stats). Or the losses (coaching staff holding him back). Or us deciding to go with Russ over Fields (old guy who's only getting a job because it was ordained by Tomlin on day 1 and Fields is getting the shaft)

It's probably just that it's the internet and (1) tone gets distorted and (2) this is a reasonable place to vent about football stuff because there are other people that know and like football.
