    Our best road win since...

This was our best road win since.... maybe 2017. If you disagree, tell me which team, and its record when we played them.

A sign that we could be on our way to something big.
Tomlin hasn't won a playoff game in seven years and counting. The earliest will be eight years. I guess that in Art Rooney's II, opinion is worth a 3 year extension.

Our 2024 draft looks to be grade A. Our 2023 draft is an A. The roster is talented, but Mike Tomlin is still the head coach.

*** Mike Tomlin is the best coach since the AFL- NFL merger that has not won a playoff game in 8 seasons or more. It's either him or Lewis. ***

We have our first legit QB in 5 years, so not surprising

Maybe opening day of the 2021 season when the Steelers beat the Bills who were coming off of a 13-3 season.
Obviously the standard is the standard.

        Nice road win for sure.

I was expecting the "they weren't really as good as their record" posts this morning.

A blocked punt for a score was a key play in that game. It happens one every 200+ or so games, and the team that get it wins by my guess 90% of the time! But maybe you are right. That Bills team finished the year 11-6, they however lost in round two of the playoffs.

I think this may be our most impressive win because we didn’t play our best football and still scored 28 points.

Russ was under 50% for a good part of this game but still made plays.

Running game wasn’t that good but we still found a way to grind out yards and almost had 2 rushing TD’s if not for a GL fumble.

Seattle game last year is the only one that comes to mind because its hard to win in that stadium. We were must win mode and put up 30+ points.

              This.

It's crazy that we still almost scored 28 points when both the running and passing games didn't look all that great.

Being able to score on those deep passes really matters IMO. So we don't need big long drives. Then when we get a nice "commanding" drive, we fumbled on the goal line.

Add forward momentum to the things I don't understand in football, I guess. But I generally like the "if we were playing a pickup game would it count" interpretation of the rules. And that's certainly a fumble under those rules.

He has Pickens make big plays. And to a lesser extent Warren did too. When you make big plays, you tend to score a lot of points. I can deal with mistakes as long as they make big plays.

Wilson made his share of big throws. Not exactly the check down variety.

TJ Watt had perhaps his worst stats game in years as he was double and triple teamed!

Watt AND Highsmith recorded ZERO tackles.

Queen and Heyward showed up and showed out this game.
