Gonna piss people off, but his PFF grade was 64, which matches the eye test. This is why box scores and passer rating are notorious liars, especially in small sample sizes.
The passing GAME as a whole might have rated 109 or whatever it was, but to assign that all to the QB when there were defenders that fell down, balls bouncing off of defenders' helmets to receivers, great catches over defenders on underthrown balls, broken tackles and YAC, wide open play action throws, etc., is terribly misleading.👍 1Comment

First, you will find a full list of all quarterbacks from Week 7, listed in order of their QB+ grade and score. Below, you will find an analysis of all qualified quarterbacks and the context for their grades.

PFF might be the dumbest thing on the face of the earth. It takes no account for Russll switching out of bad plays into good plays at the LOS. I could talk for a week on everything that goes over the head of PFF. I mean doesn't it have Porter Jr as one of the worst corners in the league? Guess we should cut him according to PFF. Our entire offense opened up in that game because of Russells ability to stretch the field. Does PFF consider that our running game benefited from the defense being worried about longer passes? LAUGHABLE Eye test? Did you say Eye test? PFF is blind."My team, may they always be right, but right or wrong...MY TEAM!"Comment

It's just a site that measures performance, it's not the end all, be all like some try to make it out to be.
and its certainly not going to change what we watched during the game.

In view of the fact that Mike Tomlin has matched Cowhers record I give him the designation:

If PFF thinks Joey Porter JR is one of the worst corners in the league then it's not only dumb it's useless. Tell me how i am wrong specifically on grading Porter?Comment
