Sure we won but we need to bench Russ

I mean Russ SHOWED NO RESPECT for Tomlins desire to win low scoring games. I mean he benched Fields after we scored too much last week.

At least Fields was inaccurate so he TRIED to score less by missing open receivers. Now with Russ we score 37 and we saw NO EFFORT to keep the score low. Tomlin must be FURIOUS.

I bet Tomlin regrets Kenny being gone. Makes ZERO SENSE that we did not extend him early. He was perfect in Tomlins DESIRE for low scoring turnover free razor close wins.

In view of the fact that Mike Tomlin has matched Cowhers record I give him the designation:

Yep. Look for MT to put the brakes on this offense soon.

Then again the positive take for Tomlins haters is that it has never been more obvious that he HAS LOST THE TEAM and he might just move on from the Steelers.

I mean it was not just Russ. What was Najee doing fighting through tackles to score a meaningless touchdown.

The disrespect is all over the place.

It is too late brother. One week? That can happen. But multiple weeks?

This team is out of control, he is powerless to rein them in. I mean what’s gonna happen next?

          PLAYOFF WINS?

Tomlin is happy just to get there. He is not greedy for playoff success like other coaches.

37 points?!?! Unheard of since the "7" era.
However...WTF were the 2 throws to the left in the 1st half?!?!
Wilson may be the QB to start the rest of the season. But, I'm not convinced he should be under contract in 2025.

I think Tomlin fires Arthur Smith this week.

I have never believed that Tomlin told QBs and the offensive coordinators to not score very much, keep the game close and just squeak out victories. When you are only winning by three to seven points in the fourth quarter, the game is up for grabs, you can lose those games and also cause yourself to have heart problems.

As dumb as many people erroneously think he is, anybody has enough sense to know that more points lead to comfortable wins such as this game against the Jets. So I think he obviously wants a more prolific offense. The QBs that have played in the past years have been responsible for not being able to produce points. Pickett, Mitch and nobody else that has played were sat down by Tomlin and told to play so safe, that they will not score points.

A lot of dunking going on after an albeit impressive home win over a 2-5 team, but give them their due. It looks like the right decision now because they won big, but let's not pretend that was a brilliant QB performance. He threw several underthrown balls that his receivers made plays on. A huge chunk of yardage came on an insane ricochet catch by GP and a Calvin Austin wide open by 20 yards play because the defender fell. It was also nice seeing a lot more play action rollouts, so obviously a different game plan.

Good start, maybe not plan the parade just yet.

You mean those underthrown balls that Fields refused or didn't want to throw so that the receivers couldn't even make a play on?

You just made it nuts in face, dunking by pretending to turn a blind eye to the obvious

if you really couldn’t see that there were passes thrown (quickly, decisively) that Fields NEVER would have attempted, i don’t know what to say to ya.

Except “at least i showered before they drug over ya”
