He has turned in to mediocre QB despite a good OL,TE and defense.His WR's? Doesn't really use them. Too bad the Ravens didn't give him 200 million dollars.

7-5 as a starter. 64.4% 16 TD's 13 Int's. Not even 3,000 yard thrown. An alarming 38 sacks taken in 12 games. I think the NFL has figured his game out. I know the Steelers have. He couldn't exploit our poor pass defense.

They will limit him to game manager mode this season, where I think he does his best work. They loaded up their D, and will get at least one or two of their starting RBs back. Expect a move towards a renewed ground attack.

At 43.5 million on the cap that some expensive " game manager ". :) :) I agree with what your wrote. With his playing style he going to tear or injure something.

Prediction: Baltimore will hit the over as long as Lamar Jackson remains healthy, which was a major issue last year. You hit it on the head. They'll limit him to cut down on those mistakes. But the defense can't protect him forever. As we've seen over and over again in the playoffs. He'll keep faceplanting in the playoffs because he can't really pass. And at some point, your defense can't win it and he'll be forced to throw to win a game.

What do you mean he is 7-5 as a starter?? He never threw for 3000 yards?? Where are you getting your stats??

he’s talking last year.

but anyone who follows football knows the amount of injuries the Ravens had makes it impossible to predict this year.

Translation: they will be healthier this year and he will play like he normally does.. lol
 
Injuries or no injuries. They pulled a few of those wins last year out of their a$$es.
Detroit and Indy come immediately to mind.

Steelers went 11-0 to start 2030 and all we heard was how bad we were playing while winning those games.
same with Baltimore last year except with them the media tries to tell us how awesome they are

Okay if thats the case he should realize that Lamar only played 12 games and was at 2882 yds. Had he played the other 5 games he is a 4000 yd passer not to mention he would have rushed for over 1000yds again.

And he'd have more interception and fumbles. Clearly he's not what he was and the NFL has figured him out.
 
Lamar Jackson is just plain stupid. He can't process his own offense, let alone an opposing defense. This is why he has a run first mentality. After his career is done he'll either be living under a cardboard box or in prison.

5,000 yards from Jackson? What are you smoking? The most he has ever thrown for is 3,127 in his career and only topped 3,000 throwing once. And he has never to 5,000 combined yards. 4,333 is the best he did and that was a while ago when he was young and fresh with limited tape & wear and tear on him. In 2020, he combined for only 3,762 yards and that was a full season form him. More than your projected 4,000-5,000 yards.

IMO you're going to see more of an evolved QB spy / run stuffer assigned to him ( and players like him. ie very mobile QB's ) on most plays from the NFL. His days of the past are gone, I think.

Has he ever been in trouble with the law? Been a known partier/boozer/snorter? Why would he end up in a box or in prison simply because he isn't great at reading defenses, there are a lot of guys who couldn't read defenses that left the league with a lot less money than Lamar will, and they didn't end up in a box or in prison.

Judging from what you post here I'd say there's a better chance that you'll end up in prison. You're wound a little too tight, there, Jim.

its the weird expectations they put on “certain” players and coaches.

He was 7-5 with all those injuries on his team. OMG he wasn’t 11-1, see… they figured him out.. lol.
