Tomlin is in Danger of Having Heart Disease

When you think of heart disease, you probably think of high cholesterol and obesity. But a simple observation on one’s body could tell whether heart trouble is looming.

Like usual, I'm the only person on these boards who actually cares about people and Mike Tomlin's health. The article above talks about the high risk for heart disease in persons who have creases on one of their earlobes. Mike Tomlin happens to be the only person on the Steelers with this condition on his right earlobe. He was the only player or coach with this condition, when I checked images of all players on the roster, fyi.

As for the jerk poster from the Windy City who ratted me out and got me banned again, go eat sh**! What goes around will come back around.

If that's the most un-healthy thing you can find, I'd say he's going to outlive you...

It's not about winning. It's about saving a life. Go check out the images of Mike Leach's left ear lobe. Do you see the big crease? What happened to him feltdizz? Didn't he just die of a heart attack?

Believe whatever you want. At least I can say I have an open mind. You not so much. You're probably home locked up afraid of the boogeyman virus working on getting your 10th booster.

It is not a joke. The rate of Heart disease is high within the African American community. Tomlin took a day off for some unknown reason he didn't disclose. I sincerely hope he is oaky. He is a high risky guy based on his ethnicity , ear lobe fold ( there are studies on this condition with directly links to heart disease ) and his job which can be very stressful. I have no idea of his medical condition or if he smokes / drinks but he has three factors of concern. I wish him well and hope he doesn't retire due to helath reasons.

If you are older, male, balding or bald, and have stressful job, are over weight and have this era crease, you should be concerned. If you have pre -diabetes, smoke, of have hyper tension these factors multiply.

" Out of 888 patients studied, 645 (72.6%) had hypertension, 508 (57.2%) had DELC, of these, 486 (95%) suffered from IHD, 264 (52%) had DM, 508 had raised blood pressure, occipital baldness were present in 246 (48%), and hyperlipidemia in 325 (64%). In males, aged ≥50 years, DELC is significant with odds ratio 7.49 (95%CI: 3.97?14.1, P < 0.001). Significant association between DELC and BMI ≥25 in male >50-year old with odds ratio 2.08 (95% CI: 1.27?3.39, P = 0.003). '

Tomlin hasn't won a playoff game in seven years and counting. The earliest will be eight years. I guess that in Art Rooney's II, opinion is worth a 3 year extension.

Our 2024 draft looks to be grade A. Our 2023 draft is an A. The roster is talented, but Mike Tomlin is still the head coach.

*** Mike Tomlin is the best coach since the AFL- NFL merger that has not won a playoff game in 8 seasons or more. It's either him or Lewis. ***
