It’s really pretty simple.

When someone doesn’t get your sarcasm online, it just means they believe you’re an idiot.

I've knocked on a person's door on a cold winter day and the freezing cat outside waits for "me" to open the door so he can get in.

The cat looks at me like an idiot because I have hands but wait for someone else to open just like him. He is like...just open the door man.

The cat is just not smart enough to understand the nuances of human interactions.

Same principle for people who cannot grasp sarcasm and think sarcastic people are idiots.
