I think that if you go to the User Control Panel and add them to the foe list it is the same as ignore. But I could be wrong

Yep it worked great.
If you have a user on 'foe' you won't see their posts, but it shows where they posted and you can click on a link to read it, if you want.Comment

Only loose end with this is, I think it may stunt healthy growth of board membership ... it doesn't fix the problem of potential future board members (who might be surfing and looking for a Steeler board to make home) getting turned off by the Bad Word-head bs.
I might steer very clear if I were in that position.

For what its worth, Irongut is no longer with us. He was previously banned under another username, and did not request specific permission from admin to return, so we had the right to boot him out again at any time.
