Calling out teammates... check

Calling out the New England Cheatriots... check

Calling out Brian Cushing... check

Calling out league policy... check

Harrison should have a "shut up" clause in his contract for real. The guy is a great player and he's even better at channeling his anger to the playing field. But come on now Harrison, just stay away from the microphone. Your not a good talker and you can easily be taken out of context. The result of this is now the Pittsburgh Steelers will have a greater target on their back this year.

Read the complete article from Men's Journal here.

As of approximately 4pm on Wednesday, it would appear the James Harrison has avoided his nearly weekly fine from NFL commssioner Roger Goodell. Harrison was penalized on Sunday for a clean hit on Oakland Raiders' QB Jason Campbell.

Bill Parise, Harrison’s agent, said he has yet to hear from the NFL about any further discipline for the hit on quarterback Jason Campbell that drew a flag and negated a pick six by cornerback Ike Taylor.

James Harrison Jersey For Sale

“I think maybe we’re OK,” Parise said this morning.

When Harrison has been fined in the past, Parise said he has learned about it prior to Wednesday of the following week.

Do you disagree with the NFL commissioner's latest ruling? Why does it seem like Goodell is on the fast pace to ruining the best game in all of sports? To voice your concerns and disagreements, contact the NFL Commissioner, Roger Goodell at his NFL office via the information listed below:

Phone: 212.450.2027
Email: Roger.Goodell2@nfl.net

Perhaps we should ask the NFL Commissioner himself some of these questions:

1) How can a player get fined and/or suspended when the hit was legal and not penalized on the field?

2) Why is the NFL selling posters/prints and DVD's of these illegal hits on it's website? They are profiting from the fines but yet they are profiting from selling merchandise! How about that for corruption?! By the way, where does all the money for these fines go?

3) Why does the ESPN, Fox, CBS, NFL Network, etc promote these type of hits via segments like "Jacked Up"? Why is the NFL and these networks allowed to promote such illegal activity?

I think the fans should suspend and fine Roger Goodell. Better yet, he should be fired. The commissioner is making a very good attempt at ruining the best game in all of sports.

Monday, the Steelers 2-time winning Super Bowl winning quarterback, Ben Roethlisberger made an official announcement regarding the 6-game suspension handed to him by NFL commissioner, Roger Goodell. Roethlisberger, although not convicted of a crime, violated the the NFL's personal conduct policy.

“The Commissioner’s decision to suspend me speaks clearly that more is expected of me. I am accountable for the consequences of my actions. Though I have committed no crime, I regret that I have fallen short of the values instilled in me by my family. I will not appeal the suspension and will comply with what is asked of me — and more.

“Missing games will be devastating for me. I am sorry to let down my teammates and the entire Steelers fan base. I am disappointed that I have reached this point and will not put myself in this situation again.

“I appreciate the opportunities that I have been given in my life and will make the necessary improvements.”

Whats the deal with the bum (i.e. Tom Brady) and the rest of the Patriots offense running up the score on the Tennessee Titans in the 3rd quarter. Most classy teams would run the ball to run out the clock and just call it a win. Not the Cheatriots, I mean the Patriots, the least classy team in NFL history.

They think its classy to run up the score when the game is over in order to "pad" stats. The Cheatriots (i.e. the Patriots) continue to throw the ball when their winning by over 40 points. Whats the point? Is this really necessary? It's necessary when your coach is Bill Belichick, the biggest scum in the history of the NFL. Well, it shouldn't be that surprising, the Patriots have never been accused of being classy since their "spygate" days under Bill Belichick.

It's well known about Bill Belichick and their videotaping which resulted in 3 Super Bowl victories. Both Bill Belichick, Tom Brady, and whoever else was involved should be banned from the National Football League (NFL) Hall of Fame the same way Pete Rose is banned from the Major League Baseball (MLB) Hall of Fame.

By the way, did anyone see the roughing the passer penalties called on Tom Brady. It's absolutely pathetic! The player barely touched Brady and they throw a yellow flag on the play which resulted in another touchdown. The NFL already has the "Tom Brady Rule", what's next? If that happened to any other quarterback in the NFL, there would be no penalty. If the NFL wants the Patriots to win another Lombardi Trophey that bad, why don't they just give it to them right now and save the rest of the league the embarassment? The game and calls even look rigged! They have the Tom Brady rule, they allow the Patriots to videotape with minimum consequences.. what's next Roger Goodell?
