Surging Steelers back to work as Browns loom

No rest for the surging.

The Pittsburgh Steelers, fresh off a 35-7 thumping of Cincinnati on Sunday, have just three days to get ready for a visit from the slumping Cleveland Browns on Thursday night.

Coach Mike Tomlin says he’s pleased with how his team played in all three phases against the Bengals as the Steelers won for the seventh time in eight games to improve to 9-3 and remain tied with Baltimore atop the AFC North.

Pittsburgh has beaten Cleveland (4-8) in 14 of the last 15 meetings, but Tomlin says the Steelers remain wary. Pittsburgh could be without offensive lineman Ramon Foster, who Sunday’s game with an ankle injury.

Linebacker LaMarr Woodley is questionable after tweaking his injured left hamstring in the first half.
