Ramon Foster signs 3 year deal

Ramon Foster signed a 3 year extension with the Steelers  today per Adam Schefter’s Tweet.  This news will likely end Willie Colon‘s tenure with the Pittsburgh Steelers.  Colon has been an injury waiting to happen.  He’s been placed on injured reserve the last two years and his overinflated 5.5 million dollar contract is toxic to the Steelers and their salary cap issues.

The G situation will look like:

LG: DeCastro
RG: Beachum / Foster
C/G: Legursky

The starting left guard will be decided in training camp and Foster can expect competition from second year pro Kelvin Beachum who filled in admirably at RT as a rookie.
