PITTSBURGH (93-7 The FAN) — After missing day one of OTAs, Pittsburgh Steelers cornerback Ike Taylor was present and participating at the South Side practice facility Wednesday.
Predictably, wide receiver Mike Wallace was not there, and he’s not expected to show up at all as he continues his contract hold out.
Running back Rashard Mendenhall was present but for the second straight day he worked out by himself. He is still rehabbing from ACL surgery.
Mendenhall said there’s no exact timetable slated for his return. However, he said the goal is to be in uniform for Week 1 at Denver.
Linebacker Jason Worilds and defensive end Brett Keisel were not present at OTAs, nor was rookie defensive tackle Alameda Ta’amu, who is still in classes at the University of Washington.
