In view of the fact that Mike Tomlin has matched Cowhers record I give him the designation:
TCFCLTC-
The Coach Formerly Considered Less Than Cowher
And yet they had more passing attempts last year than they EVER had.
Frank truth is that the closest thing to "yinzer" football played by Ben was in:
Rookie season: highest win percentage
2nd season: Youngest SB winning QB
4th season: Bens highest QB rating and most TD passes
Those are the seasons with the fewest QB pass attempts.
All other seasons we have done what YOU want, been a pass happy team.
This includes every time we missed a playoff with Ben.
Dont dare blame last seasons fiasco on "too much handoffs" when we ran less than we EVER have.
And before you come back with the "we passed early and ran late" line AGAIN when I bring up Ben's early success, PLEASE tell us that you want to GO BACK to that WINNING FORMULA, or dont even go there.

I still think there is a chance Bruce A. trys to get Ben next year. I think it depends how he does in AZ this year and how the Steelers do this season.
Bruce A. will not have the sick head coach to motivate the team. Also who's his starting QB? Hoyer or Stanton? Maybe it will be one of the other 2 still there. Skelton or Lindley? Will Bruce have the draft ammo to get a deal done with the Steelers is the only sticking point.
I will not be happy for it to happen but as I keep reading on here. Ben is either not a fit for the offense or about done. Crash would be excited. No more Art 2 to deal with and that terrible defense that gives back TD's.
