What am I missing that makes everyone feels they should extend him. He's always giving up plays and getting beat. Maybe it's the few TO that he causes or maybe he look bad because of all the 10 yard cushions, or even the fans think Kennan Lewis all over ,but if we continue to play that defense for him , maybe the Steelers would be better off waiting or just letting him walk. But I'm sorry I just don't see it.

I do.
Has shown some flashes of decent play and there is literally nothing behind him. There are a lot worse CBs drawing paychecks
He's alright.. No one is saying to "BREAK THE BANK" on him... He dealt with injuries last year.. Let's see if he can live up to his potential this season and go from there.

We don't have any cheerleaders but we do have a few of these \m/...
that's the key Eddie...that and the thought that Ike's days are numbered. If they had a few thoroughbreds behind him, it wouldn't be such a necessity.
I'm really hoping that Richardson progresses well as the season goes along and he shows he can play. Allen is going to have a good year (hopefully) and then be retained at a "good" player's price.

Allen might be a Deshea Townshend type of signing.
He signed a modest contract and became a good CB for many years.
Does Allen deserve a Keen an Lewis deal?? No way.... but again next year we might be in trouble if he walks.
