No, I meant it just like I said it. It means those who dont drink for the tsate. They drink for the effect. It is the method of drinking with the sole purpose of getting to a point that is drunk. And as soon as possible.

WRONG!!!

This is what Rappaport said today....

“Here are the basics. From talking to several people on various sides of this, and there are a lot of sides of this, Ben is not happy with the direction of the team, with the offensive coaches. I should say with the coaches and not just Todd Haley, “Rapoport said.
“I would not be surprised if most of the offensive staff turned over after this year, and Steelers sources also wouldn’t be surprised if Ben asked them to explore possible trade options at the end of this season.”

“You read the tweets from Steelers fans, and I really appreciate the enthusiasm, I really do, and it’s like ‘well obviously you just woke up this morning and decided to throw something against the wall.’ Well, no,” Ian said.
“It was about probably thirty-five seconds on the air, but it’s a long process to get there to make sure you’re talking to the right people, talking to people who have first hand knowledge of what you’re going to say. I talked about it with our producers, our editors, there’s a certain process of making sure that what I’m saying is not hearsay and comes from the right people and what you saw was the result on air yesterday.”

Oh, now I get it. Never heard that phrase before. Sounded like something redundantman might say

Now there's some real journalism for you...
Oh I get it now. This is where you got that misinformation (what you posted in another thread). You didn't actually read it or hear it yourself. It came from something someone posted here. Hilarious!!

Of course many Steeler fans wont believe this story. They can't even get what was said right.

Iknow what he said, I heard him. It was all based on speculation. See where he says I wouldn't be surprised.?

Ya know, it's not that I don't care ... Because I really do ... However two things come to mind: (1) "WE" (the fans) won't know if it is going to happen until it does or does not happen. (2) If it does happen, there's not a darned thing any of us can do about it. As an aside, I don't really think "fan outrage" will play much into this decision. ARII knows that we will still watch, still buy and still show up ...

That my friend is called Selective Reading.

He wouldn't be surprised because of why? Because of his talks with people on various sides of this.

How is this speculation..... and Steelers sources also wouldn’t be surprised if Ben asked them to explore possible trade options at the end of this season.”

That right there isnt about what he thinks but what was said to him.

Do you not realize the $11 million cap hit is an easy fix in a trade? It can be a win-win for all parties. They re-structure and give Ben a new long term contract. Back end loaded gives Ben more money for more years. It gives both teams involved in the trade immediate cap relief.

Here is an example.

In order to make the trade happen, McNabb had to agree to re-work the five-year, $78 million contract he signed with the Redskins because the Vikings didn't have enough salary-cap room for him with the way the deal is structured. NFL Network insider Michael Lombardi confirmed that a restructured deal was in place, but the terms weren't immediately available.
