    Report: AB Has Frostbitten Feet

I didn't see a thread for this yet and I hate to be the guy to bring his name back to the front page of the Board...so my apologies on all fronts. I don't know whether the below report is more funny or sad. I guess since I belly laughed while reading and didn't cry, I'll go with funny.

Simms: Antonio Brown got frostbitten feet in a cryotherapy machine

Today’s edition of PFT Live featured an amusing (but obviously somewhat serious) anecdote regarding the inability of Raiders receiver Antonio Brown to practice due to what has been characterized as blisters on his feet.

On Monday, PFT Live co-host Chris Simms said that the photos posted by Brown don’t reveal blisters but the peeling of layers of of skins from the bottom of his feet. Simms said that he once had a condition like that, thanks to what he called an “unidentified Buc fungus” in Tampa.

After Monday’s show, Simms got word from someone with knowledge of the situation that Brown burned his feet by entering a cryotherapy machine without the proper footwear, and his feet were frostbitten.

Brown’s agent, Drew Rosenhaus, did not respond to a request for comment.

The former Steeler started training camp on the non-football injury list. He exited NFI, practiced for a few days, and then was unable to practice. He has seen a specialist, and is regarded as day to day.

At Raiders practice, Antonio Brown’s son asks, “Where’s Roethlisberger?”

Thanks to a case of frozen feet, Raiders receiver Antonio Brown hasn’t been at practice much during training camp. On one of the days he participated, he had three young sons present.

As revealed in a clip disseminated by HBO from tonight’s debut episode of Hard Knocks, one of Brown’s sons asks his dad an important question: “Where’s Roethlisberger?”

“He plays with the Steelers,” Antonio Brown says. “Our quarterback [is] Derek now. We don’t play with Roethlisberger no more.”

Brown then tries to ensure that all three of his sons know the name of his current quarterback as well as they know the name of his former one.

“We play with Derek Carr,” Brown says. “That’s my quarterback. You know his name? What’s his name?”

“Derek Carter?” another one of them says.

Although Antonio Brown definitely knows the name of his current quarterback, there’s a chance that, by the middle of the season, Brown also will be asking, “Where’s Roethlisberger?”

Then again, for now it’s reasonable for Derek Carter-Carr to be asking, “Where’s Antonio?”
Steeler teams featuring stat-driven, me-first, fantasy-football-darling diva types such as Antonio Brown & Le'Veon Bell won no championships.

Super Bowl winning Steeler teams were built around a dynamic, in-your-face defense plus blue-collar, hard-hitting, no-nonsense football players on offense such as Hines Ward & Jerome Bettis.

We don't want Juju & Conner to replace what we lost in Brown & Bell.

We are counting on Juju & Conner to return us to the glory we once had with Hines & The Bus.

    Lmao.

Let’s be real. Most of us don’t discuss our job situation with our kids. Even if he said they were moving I don’t think the kids would process it. Camp is camp to them.

    Hilarious exchange.

Interesting thing about frostbite is it really never goes away. I had a mild case in 1980 and everytime I'm exposed to cold you feel it. Brown's is actually pretty serious.

This guy has mental issues.....it's sad.

At least the Raiders got rid of Derek Carr ... I bet Derek Carter doesn't cry during games.

If Nathan Peterman starts AB should switch to DB in practice if he wants the ball.
