I think the *'s are only offering Sanders one year...the Steelers ought to work out a long-term, reasonable contract for him.

And I agree, we can wait on Bradshaw. Wait until after the draft, IMO.

We're still holding on to Taylor, Clark, Polamalu and Keisel and their contracts. The Steelers are rebuilding an aging team by letting young players go and replacing them with young players. The overall age of the team hasn't decreased at all since the end of the season or not in any significant manner. I'm sure Hampton and Harrison will reduce the overall age a fraction, but not the kind of decrease you would expect in a rebuilding year.

It's going to suck, to suck and still have an old team.

I agree 100%... if we're in a true rebuilding phase, why not dump some of the old players, and keep the younger prospects that are producing? Doesnt make sense to dump young, proven players and replace with young, unproven players.

    94 catches for 1290 yds. & 5 TD's over 3 years doesn't make you a proven player IMO.
Neither does his 5 fumbles/3 lost.
He's an average receiver that people are overeacting to.

What's the latest on Bradshaw? Is he still coming in for another visit?

I doubt it, they wouldn't have the room to sign him if they decided he is healthy.

I guess this year will tell the tale
