No truth to the bar tabs. None. Public bathroom sex? None.
Why? Just because you say so?

Actualy he plays QB like a Hall of Famer.
He used to, not anymore. He has gone from Big Ben to Bonehead Ben.

He went from being "clutch" and pulling out wins near the end of games, to now being the REASON we lose, in critical games like vs. Dallas and Cinci. He had the ball with the chance to win the game and in both instances he threw game-losing picks and they cost us the play offs. Ben hasn't been clutch since 2008. He was FAIL in our last Super Bowl, having the ball with a chance to win at the end of the game and came up FAIL. He now plays like a frat boy playing in an intramural game with a keg on the side lines.

And the drives where they took the lead in the 4th quarter only to see our defense give it back?

    That's what I thought.

Something is obviously wrong. For a team that prioritizes the rushing game more than any other team in the league, you'd think you'd have better results than being 26th out of 32 teams. Teams that rush the ball as an afterthought out-rushed this team. Really pathetic.
All the $$$ spent on a having a power rushing game???

You mean having a 6th round draft pick @ RB, an UDFA @ RB, drafting another 7th round RB, a 7th Rounder at FB and another UDFA at FB???
or all that money they spent on the O-Line???

You mean when he was hit while throwing? That pick?

I hope you guys get your wish.

Just don't cry when Ben wins a ring somewhere else.

They should try and extend him a year or two. Surround him with a great young OL, a quick passing attack, and dominant running game. Give him a fair shake at looking like a HOF QB. In 3 years we can evaluate the situation. If we win another SB with him we keep him and he retires a Steeler. However, if we don't win a bowl but have good seasons he would still be worth a haul in draftpicks to someone. Quite a few HOF caliber QB's get traded in their later years.

A team with an awesome OL, established quick pass oriented offense, and solid running game would be perfect for a young QB. Use the picks we get from Ben and draft young defensive playmakers.

Scrap the tight end garbage and the infatuation with a fullback.

But with the signings of Johnson and Spaeth? Don't hold your breath.

No different than Peyton Manning or Kurt Warner. At least Roethlisberger got hit as he threw the ball, unlike the other two who just got fooled.
