Saw something today I found amusing - (UK football)

UK just fired Joker Phillips (HC) today. While I don't follow college football I know that UK Football has been a joke for awhile. I was reading the article about the firing today and came across this comment and reply:

1."Let's get Bill Cowher on the line!"

    2. "I hope someone outside of Lexington calls. He won't answer any phone call from the Lexington area code."

Obviously there is some extreme wishful thinking going on here, but I hadn't heard of Cowher being interested in coaching again at all, much less college. Has anyone heard anything about Cowher lately?

No matter how far out of left field it is, the thought of Cowher coming in to revamp the football team and combining to make a Calipari/Cowher HC combo is pretty awesome. I can dream, can't I?

When you stated that your post was about UK football, I assumed you meant soccer.
Steeler teams featuring stat-driven, me-first, fantasy-football-darling diva types such as Antonio Brown & Le'Veon Bell won no championships.

Super Bowl winning Steeler teams were built around a dynamic, in-your-face defense plus blue-collar, hard-hitting, no-nonsense football players on offense such as Hines Ward & Jerome Bettis.

We don't want Juju & Conner to replace what we lost in Brown & Bell.

We are counting on Juju & Conner to return us to the glory we once had with Hines & The Bus.
